On all magazine front covers, there has to be a bar code, which is located at one of the sides of the cover, somewhere near the bottom. In addition to this, there is also the price that needs to be included. This is important, simply because people need or prefer to know the price of products before they purchase something.
From looking at some of the leading film magazines, I have noticed that range of prices is between £3.40 and £3.80. Due to this, I am deciding that I am going to price my magazine at £3.20, this is because my magazine would be new to the industry, which means that if I were to put it at this price, it would be competing against the others, which may mean consumers would buy this as opposed to the others.
